Never in my wildest dreams did I think that life would have led me to birthwork through pregnancy loss; that I would be homeschooling my children; or that I’d leave teaching 11 years in to end up teaching in a completely different arena. God can do immeasurably more. I hope you let Him.

Using setbacks as my slingshot, I’ve been purposed to radically reclaim Peace from the trenches of postpartum anxiety, depression, pregnancy loss, and the rat race of the 9-5 life while loving others well. Nothing is wasted in my opinion; it can all be used for good. The world says we can have this or that; that it's all or nothing and I'm here to say that our experiences are a myriad of colors and that my friend, can be your rainbow. 

A teacher at heart, I‘m a natural advocate. I’m a mother to four arrows, three here on earth and one waiting for me in heaven.  Through loss, God wrote it on my heart to support women through pregnancy and infant loss.  He also told me that I couldn't simply support women through death and that I must support them through life as well. 

On the eve of Calvary’s one year heavenly anniversary, in August of 2022, I became certified as a Birth and Bereavement Doula from Still Birth Day. In January 2023, I earned my HypnoBirthing International Instructional Certification and am currently teaching classes in person in Sarasota, FL. Digital classes are also available.

I'm a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. With community at my core, I want to make sure each mother knows that she does not have to become a slave to postpartum duress or the fear of losing a life that was knit together within her womb; that boundaries are healthy, and that freedom in every sense of the word (time, wealth, health, and emotional) is ours for the collecting.

I’ve got extra in the sarcasm, fun, and giving spirit arenas.

Let’s do life together. Let’s slay giants together. Let’s radically transform motherhood together. Let’s build bigger tables together and lastly, let’s sit belly up to that table together. We’re worth it.
